Huff and a Puff is a slanted replica of the one-room home where Henry David Thoreau lived (we passed the real one later that afternoon). I loved the whimsy. I was also impressed with how every shingle and brick were cut at an angle. Even the hardware on the door! The photos don't capture wonky it felt.
That was one of my favorites. I also loved the one named Best of All Possible Worlds which featured a set of plastic imprint of old fashioned doors. I love the way the light filtered through (the guidebook said the light was best at sunrise/sunset).
My next favorite was the two huge black hearts that were cast bronze. They were covered in all sorts of stuff - hands, faces, a variety of tools. A crazy mix; it was so impressive.
The other two caught my eye. What looks like another bare tree on the rock is actually a statue which looked somewhat humanoid, depending on the angle it was viewed (Venusvine). The color and shiny finish caught my eye with Menagerie. Then when I got closer my attention was drawn to all the eyes on the sculpture.
Which is your favorite of the bunch?
