Merry Christmas! All sorts of things to share with LeeAnna's I Like Thursday.
Winter piggies! I fostered these two in the beginning of the year and took these pictures expecting they'd be last year's holiday cards. However, their photos where set aside when I had those stinking cute Rice Crispy boys later in the year. How nice to share these guys with you now.
This sunrise was from a few weeks ago - as I went to my last PT
appointment. That's two things to like right there! The colors
were amazing. The pinks faded towards the south - I was so struck by it
I pulled over to take photos.
I love my sunroom, especially with the fire going, the snow falling and the chickadees and titmice visiting the window feeder. What's not to like?
Rob and I spent a couple of days in Woodstock. Lots of neat things. Get a load of those Christmas chickens pulling the sleigh. What a hoot! And check out the funky leaded glass on that beautiful old door.
We stopped at VINS to see the raptors - I didn't realize that red tail hawks are so big! or that the barred owls in our back yard looked bigger than the ones they had. There were some really neat metal sculptures on the walking trails.
I spent a lot of my week off working playing with leftover fabric. I had so. much. fun. I've used up all the black and grey triangles, as well as a good chunk of the crumbs from Winter Stars. I am obsessed with this lone star quilt. How to finish it off? I keep adding rows, but I need to stop! It spent some time on the living room floor, but had to come up for the holiday!
Merry Christmas for those of you that celebrate. Well be celebrating with a small family gathering over a fondue pot - something we all like!
