Echo endured a photo shoot. We needed some glam-shots for her adoption page at Dakin Humane.
She was a little unsure of her surroundings. A little red pepper was enough to keep her facing the camera rather than hiding behind the pumpkin.
She's gotten a little better at being handled. I think she actually enjoys being held. As much as she tried to bail out of my arms the other day, she sat on my lap and let me tell her how pretty she is.
I've been trying to entertain her with bits of corn husk and apple peelings hung in several places in the cage (she has to follow her nose to find them). She had no luck using the egg-cersizer to dispense pieces of carrot, but has had more luck manipulating cardboard treat balls.
Overall, Echo has settled in quite nicely. She's getting the hang of the daily routines and now wheeks her demands when I open the vegetable drawer in the evening. Dinner time!
