I caught Wedgwood nesting. She pulled all the hay out of the holder then settled in the middle of it. It's so nice to see her relaxed and enjoying herself. She's off of most of the pain meds and is maintaining her weight. She even did an extra lap around the living room with Mabel after breakfast on Tuesday. Wedg is not the pig she was six months ago, but she's still doing better than I hoped.
Mabel much prefers to sleep in the cuddle cup than in hay. She was so relaxed that afternoon she even let me reach in and pat her. She stretched out, which caused that right foot to hang out. That's how she remained. What a cutie. She's lucky she doesn't get wuzzed more often.
Such a rough life.

ReplyDeleteSo pleased to read she is doing okay. I am still gutted after losing Dundee, and so miss his little face greeting me each day. I still go to put food in his cage!
