I Like Thursday: Chilling

We were supposed to get less than two inches of snow Wednesday.  I went out for a walk mid-afternoon and there was at least three inches at that point.  I'm glad I got out.  Very pretty, but with a few warm days coming up it will disappear quickly.

All the maple buckets were covered in snow.

I only got back to quilting Icy Colors last night.  There are 17 blocks left to quilt and 22 days to do it.  Think I can make it?

Not much else this week to share with LeeAnna's I Like Thursday.  Work, computer (which is running great!), family and physical therapy has kept me busy.  Maybe more fun stuff next week.

  1. Love your snowy pictures. I just watched a video on tapping trees for maple syrup, it is very interesting. I think what made it even more interesting was after reading the book Braiding Sweetgrass and the author talking about tapping maple trees too.

  2. Wow, it is still snowing there, but oh my goodness, everything is beautiful. It sounds as if you will meet your deadline with Icy Colors.

  4. Your photos are beautiful! I used to like walking in the snow! Not so much anymore! Balance issues and just plain old age! Have a good week!

  6. Beautiful views at your place, even in the snow! It's chilling here, too. Icy Waters seems quite appropriate for you to be working on right now!

  7. Your Circle of geese is neat looking last post. I'm sewing flying geese now for that embroidered block project. How neat to arrange them the way you have there.
We are under a snow storm watch for tonight...a swath that is stretching all the way up the eastern side of North Americ!
